Dawn Milk celebrates 20 years of sponsoring Ladies Day at the Killarney Races with a host of celebrities: Roz Purcell, Roxanne Parker & Nicola McEvoy

This year promises to be action packed both on and off the track with a host of celebrities attending the Dawn Milk Ladies Day at the Killarney Races on Thursday, July 18th, 2013. One of Ireland’s top models and TV personality Roz Purcell, with leading fashion stylist Roxanne Parker and this year’s reining Rose of Tralee, Nicole McEvoy have been announced as judges of the Dawn Milk Ladies Day 2013.

The Dawn Milk Ladies Day is renowned across the country as one of the most prestigious ladies day events on the fashion calendar in Ireland. The Dawn Milk Queen of Fashion Winner will receive a trip for two to Paris and a specially commissioned vase.

The winner of the Dawn Milk Most Stylish Hat will receive a trip for two to Milan and a specially commissioned vase also. A runner-up prize will also be presented in both categories. A total of 20 finalists will be selected by the judges, and ladies are advised to arrive early as the judges will be selecting finalists on the race course from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. All winners will be announced in the parade ring after the 5th race.

Ladies Day Judge Roxanne Parker, who is one of Ireland’s most eminent style experts and leading fashion stylists provided some fashion tips for all ladies attending “I am looking for elegance and a subtle chic look, where the hat and outfit compliment each other.

A woman with poise and elegance, who has chosen a look that, fits and flatters her figure, in a tone that suits her complexion and a style that is appropriate and comfortable will grab my attention. I will also be paying attention to grooming, it is a head to toe look!”
